Lesson 1.1

The launch brief

Map the full asset kit before generating: every channel, every format, every deadline, on one page.

Notes

A product launch is not one image — it is a kit: retail imagery, e-commerce sets, paid social, point-of-sale, and a launch film, all due the same week. The brief maps the kit before any generation starts.

One reference truth

Everything in the kit descends from one thing: a clean photograph of the real product. Front-lit, neutral background, label perfectly readable. This is the reference truth every lesson in this module builds on.

Sequence the build

  1. Hero imagery first — it defines the light and grade the rest inherits.

  2. Packaging and shelf variants second, while the hero look is fresh.

  3. Lifestyle and talent third, ads and film last — they consume everything above.

Launches fail on the asset nobody listed. The brief is the insurance.
